In their 2020 report, Wyzowl answer the question of "is Video Marketing really worthwhile?" with the following stats:
  • 89% of video marketers say video gives them a good ROI.
  • 83% of video marketers say video helps them with lead generation.
  • 87% of video marketers say video has increased traffic to their website.
  • 80% of video marketers say video has directly helped increase sales.
  • 95% of video marketers plan to increase or maintain video spend in 2020.
Video’s also an important part of the shopping experience:
  • More than 55% of shoppers use online video while actually shopping in a store - Google.
  • 66% of consumers prefer watching a video to reading about a product - Wyzowl
  • 54% of consumers want to see more video content this year - Hubspot
However, it’s important to get the tone right. In 2017, Wyzowl reported that 75% of consumers decided not to buy a product because the video voiceover annoyed them. An informal and chatty tone is preferred by 83% of consumers.
Which is where we come in. If there is one thing that this company if founded on it is in creating content that is 'Authentic', 'Down to Earth' and 'Relevant' to your Audience, your customers, your students.
We could go on and on with statistics and statements to validate the importance of Video Content to your business, but if you want more on that, simply Google it and you will be inundated with pages of websites with lists like the above.
So now that's out of the way, let's get on with discussing your project, what your business goals are, and who you are trying to reach.

Ok, so 'we' or 'us', is often just 'Me'!

However, on larger projects where we need to achieve a higher production value and get through more shots in a day, I have a key network of people to turn to, so that I ensure that the project is a success and it does become 'We'!


In the above instance, I typically take on a Director role as well as normally being the main DOP (Director of Photography) and the day.


In fact I have just finished Editing my proudest work to date, but the killer is that I can't share any footage online yet as it been commercially released.

I can, however (for the relevant and sincere prospective customer), share some confidential sneak peeks, so please reach out to me if that is you. Particularly if you are not captured by the video examples below.

So what is an Engageneer? Well, it's like an Engineer, but for Engagement. Rocketeer, Musketeer, Engageneer...you get the drift.


Everything that we do is about 'Engagement'. It's not just about creating pretty pictures for the sake of it, it's about creating moments and strategies that 'Engage' your clients in genuine thought-provoking, emotive ways.

I love cool, artistic, exciting imagery, as much, if not more (a LOT more) than the next person, but I also know a lot about customer journeys, customer personas and how to create content strategies that will convert your customers from 'clients' to 'fans'.

I think that like most creative endeavors, the proof is in the pudding. So I direct you to the below work produced, Filmed and edited by myself and I also suggest a chat as there are other projects that I can't share on the site here...yet, but I can share privately. My most recent work was a 3 man job, 2 cameras and a grip van full of gear. We put in a solid 12 hour day and have created some beautiful footage off the back of it.

Some stock footage has been used here and there in the below, but for the most part, everything else has been done by me. The effects, motion graphics etc are all mine.
